And so I would highly recommend Parallels to anyone who is a Mac lover, but is forced to use Windows apps and doesn't want to buy a dedicated machine. If you happen to be a fan of split-window mode in Android Nougat, there is a good chance that may find this nifty tools App that I have been working on. Copy paste, your keys, shortcuts, all of that works really seamlessly. And it really feels like you're just working in your Mac environment. It's really easy with coherence mode to kind of strip away all of the Windows experience and just run your Windows apps. And then if you're like me, you're really a Mac user, but you have to use a virtual machine for whatever reason. And I really think that stacking up against their competitors, if you're a non-technical person, Parallels is the easiest option for you really because the setup is so simple. They've been in virtualization for a long time. To me, I think Parallels is really a no-brainer.

It takes care of all the drivers for you, which I really like because I mean I can use the same trackpad and keyboard setting across the board. I like how customizable the setting are, particularly when it comes to the security/privacy of your files and what you want to allow each various operating system to have access to. One of Parallels best feature, in my opinion, is that it allows you to access files from all operating systems and you can also drag and drop files from one system to the other. I really like that it allows you to install more than one operating system too. It runs just like any other program would on a mac, and acts as a virtual machine, allowing you to install other operating systems with the program.
It also meant I couldn't access both operating systems at the same time. Before I discovered Parallels Desktop for Mac, in order to use windows I had to "dual boot" my mac which I found to be quite time consuming (having restart my computer anytime I wanted to switch). Pros: This is THE software to have if you use a mac as your main computer but also need to use software that can only run on a windows operating system.
